In a unexpected collaboration that challenges traditional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Disclosed

According to the authorized release, "An unusual encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of forbidden rituals and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret sect.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar trials and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Additional Features

Players who finish the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana alongside multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
